MOVING ON - STATE CONFERENCE 2008 ACC TASMANIA

Last year was great, this year will be even better! We’re in Launceston this time round at the beautiful Grand Chancellor Hotel for 2 and half days of awesome worship, brilliant teaching, soul satisfying ministry and much needed fellowship.

Each year the aim of the State Executive is to provide an opportunity for all of our ministers and church leaders to come together and be inspired, equipped and rejuvenated for the Cause of the King - the extension of His Kingdom. Our focus during our time together is Him and YOU. We want to hear from Jesus and be refreshed and ministered to so we’re ready to go back to our churches and see all that God has planned for them in 2009 come to pass.

Taking time out to attend our State Conference is a great opportunity for you and your team to grow together and become better equipped to fulfill your calling as a minister of the gospel.

This year we have Pastor Ashley Evans as our keynote speaker along with his lovely wife Jane who will be speaking at an afternoon ladies tea and one of our main sessions. Pastor Ashley is on the National Executive of the ACC and is the State ACC President for South Australia. He pastors Paradise Community Church which has seen significant growth under his leadership and now ministers to over 6000 people in Adelaide.

We’ve also invited Ps John Lewis and his wife Val to be with us. John has served on the National Executive as well as being the State President of the ACC in Queensland for many years. John has a passion for Pastors and Leaders and spends much of his time consulting at a local church level nationally and internationally. John will be sharing about transition and how best to navigate it personally, and collectively with your congregation.

We have plenty of surprises so please make every effort to join us and bring along your team. It’s going to be life changing!

There are numerous restaurants, coffee shops and eateries within walking distance of the Hotel where you can enjoy dinner with friends each evening.
